Why Pasture Raised?  Open space, warm sunshine, fresh grass filled with bugs and grubs, and cool shade all add up to a happy, healthy chicken!

Delivered as day old chicks direct from a local hatchery by the local post office,
the young peeps nestle safely in a warm brooder for the first 2 weeks of their lives.

When they start to get their feathers, they are old enough to move out to the pasture for about 6 weeks to grow and mature

Housed in Salatin Style Pens,
moved daily to give the birds fresh pastures.

These pens provide safety from predators, as well as sunshine and shade

the birds are treated with respect and processed humanely.

now that is one tasty bird!
